故伊奈長三郎（いなちょうざぶろう）氏の命日10月10日を
「陶と灯の日」とし、常滑焼業界の歴史を振り返り、先人の陶業・陶芸における功績と偉業を再認識するとともに、新たな決意で常滑焼の伝統・文化を次世代へ引き継いでいく原動力の一助となる事業です。
点灯式典は夕方６時からです。
